Tigers launch unique sponsor prize draw

BBL treble-winners Mersey Tigers are offering businesses the chance to become their main sponsor in a unique sponsorship prize draw.

For just £7,500, businesses will receive a host of sponsorship benefits and be entered in to a draw to become the main sponsor of the club – a package worth up to £50,000!

As main sponsor, the winning business will have their company logo on the front of the new Mersey Tigers home and away vests, as well as court floor branding.

The sponsorship benefits available to all include a court-side advertising board, exposure on SKY Sports, match sponsorship, programme advertising, player appearances, media coverage and courtside seats for all matches.

The club is heading in to the new season, which starts at the beginning of October, with a new owner, playing in a brand new venue at Knowsley Leisure and Culture Park in Huyton.

They are now looking to bring on board new partners and businesses from across Merseyside and beyond, to help the club achieve its goals both on and off the court, as it seeks to develop the sport of basketball in the community.

A club spokesman said: “The club is entering an exciting new era under new ownership, and we want to make the Tigers more accessible for both fans and corporate partners alike.

“We’re keen to implement new innovations and ideas, and we think this is a unique concept geared towards attracting new partners to the club.

“This is an excellent opportunity for any business to get some fantastic exposure through our official partners package, with the added incentive that they could then become our main sponsor as a result.

“We’ve got some great plans for the club both on and off the court, and signing up more partners is only going to help with the development of basketball in Merseyside.”

The draw is subject to at least eight businesses signing up, and will be made at the Tigers season launch next month.
